Frisk's lived in Castle Perrault for a long time, and events in that comm have changed them from how they might normally be perceived:
They wear a green scarf, a knitted gift from Grune. It's quite tattered on the ends from how much they worry at it with their fingers. They used to use it to sometimes cover a scar they had from their first death in the Castle, when a no-mercy run Chara killed them. They've died again since, which erased it, but they still wear the scarf because it's a present and it's something to fidget with.
They've got a mouthful incredibly sharp fangs, pink blood (which fades to black and then evaporates to nothing if spilled), and a somewhat odd-looking SOUL by "accepting" an offer from Judgement. Their SOUL itself is still red and heart-shaped, but it's surrounded by a pink diamond--anyone particularly sensitive to SOULs in general will notice it "feels" wrong. They have a mental link with her, and she can see anything they do if she's paying attention.
Judgment herself is a disease, so Frisk is always in the process dying (albeit slowly), and it isn't fixed after they die--there's no (ICly) known cure. Stamina is a bit lower, intense physical activity leaves them coughing up blood and having to sit and rest for a little while--except in extreme cases, in which they temporarily gain superhuman strength at the consequence of feeling even worse symptom-wise afterwards. A state of pain is pretty normal, their voice is raspy half the time, and their patience is limited.
Despite all this, they say they don't mind, because Judgment is their friend and a messed-up being that's almost like a kid. Besides, they agreed, even if they (and, as it turned out, she) didn't know what the full consequences would be. She lived an existence of suffering before ending up at the Castle, even if she made others suffer too. They try to help whatever they can.
In fact, most beings that end up in the Castle had terrible lives before showing up there. Frisk once thought the Castle was a bit of a refuge for hopeless cases, but have since decided with all the bad things that happened there means that's wrong.
On that note:

On that note:

Charas have had the worst lives Frisk's ever heard of. They're protective of most other kids, but they tend to be Frisk's top priority.
With Frisk's chronic terminal illness and general displeasure with the Castle, they're prone to getting angry and bottling it up. They're a touch better at letting loose than they once were, as well as not letting it out on just anyone, but they do sometimes snap and smash stuff or go provoke people they know they can't seriously injure into a fight.
Begun by the True Lab and Amalgamates, discovering their favorite Sans made himself into a science-weapon which is why he's so fragile, and gaining two little brothers that were created to be weapons...Frisk has a strong distaste/borderline fear of "lab stuff", and they're deeply suspicious of Gasters.
They wanted to stay with Toriel at the end of their Underground journey and called her "Mom" at the start of it, but that was a long time ago. She's Asriel's mom and Chara's and maybe other Frisks' who agreed to the same thing, but never theirs. That wouldn't be fair to any of her real children, or Toriel herself. They already have a family...though they wouldn't mind being friends with her, if they meet her again. (But they might not appreciate being mothered too much.)
And in spite of their flaring rage at the Castle and what it does to it inhabitants, it's home. They'll trash-talk it all the time and hate whats it does, but that doesn't mean they want to leave it, or whoever's living there.
It's the same thing, isn't it?
